Kenneth Yeow — The Afterlife Bro, Singapore funeral consultant

    About Kenneth Yeow

Singapore's most approachable guide to funerals, columbaria, and end-of-life planning.

Why I started The Afterlife Bro

When my aunty passed away, my family was completely at a loss. Who do we call? What happens first? What's a fair price? Nobody tells you these things until you need to know them urgently, in the middle of grief.

That's why I left my job and took a 90% pay cut to do this full-time. Not for a mission statement — I watched my own family struggle with something that shouldn't be this confusing, and I figured I could actually fix it.

The Afterlife Bro is that fix. A warm, honest, human guide to everything afterlife-related in Singapore — written the way I'd explain it to a friend.

That's my uncle. Even here, I was still checking that everything was right — some habits don't turn off. This is the part of the job that doesn't show up on a website.

Who I am and what I do

I'm an independent afterlife consultant. I'm not tied to any single funeral company — I work with a small number of vetted funeral vendors across Singapore, so I can give families an honest comparison instead of one provider's pitch. I help families arrange funerals at HDB void decks, landed properties, and private funeral parlours, and assist with columbarium niche selection and pre-purchase across both government and private options.

I also hold a columbarium agent licence at Woodlands Memorial, Singapore's largest integrated funeral parlour and columbarium complex, so I can arrange viewings and niche bookings there directly when that's the right fit for a family.

My role is to help you understand your options clearly — across multiple providers and venues — so you can make the right decision for your family, not the most expensive one.

I'm also a member of BNI (Business Network International), the world's largest professional referral network. This gives me access to a trusted network of financial advisors, estate planners, lawyers, and other specialists I can refer families to when the situation calls for it. That's also where I first presented the C.A.L.M. framework you'll see referenced around this site.

What I can help you with

    Immediate funeral arrangements

Body collection, wake venue booking, and religious coordination — I coordinate this directly, bringing in a vetted vendor for you.

    Funeral pre-planning

Documenting your wishes, comparing your options for funding it, choosing a niche before you need one.

    Independent advice

Not tied to any single funeral company. I help you compare quotes and ask the right questions.

    Legacy recording

Through The Edda Collective, I offer guided sessions to capture a person's stories before they're gone.

    About Cal 💀

The little skeleton mascot you see around the site? His name is Cal — short for Calcium. Don't be afraid of him. He's here to help too. Death is a topic most of us avoid, but Cal's whole thing is making it a little more approachable. He means well.
